By participating in the programs listed below, you can donate money to Glen Ridge’s capital fund without dipping further into your pocketbook. The proceeds from these alternative funding programs are used for major repairs at each of the four public schools.

Scrip…making the most of your grocery dollars to support the Glen Ridge Public Schools! 5% of your scrip dollars will be donated back toward our alternative funding projects. So far, the Scrip program has raised more than $50,000 for capital projects.

Projects to be funded

Alternative Funding Programs proceeds have been donated toward completion of the following projects:

  • Linden Avenue School Paving
  • Ridgewood Avenue School Auditorium Lighting Board
  • High School Bleacher Renovation
  • Paving at Ridgewood Avenue
  • Exterior Trim Upgrades at Forest
  • Installation of Exterior Doors to Ridgewood Avenue Auditorium
  • Renovation of Exterior Staircase/Entryway to Ridgewood Avenue Auditorium (proceeds from the 2006 Kitchen Tour)
