Course Description
Health education is an essential subject where all
students acquire physical, mental, emotional and social well–being.
Our responsibility is to provide current information
and develop skills, attitudes and behaviors that will result in making good
healthy decisions throughout their lives.
We believe that we need cooperative efforts with the
school, family and community agencies to maximize the health education program
and foster positive self-direction in our students.
We

1. To promote the development of good health and safety
habits and an understanding of the conditions necessary for physical, mental,
emotional and social well-being.

To provide an
atmosphere in which each individual will grow in his/her understanding of the

with a knowledge base for making wise decisions pertaining to his/her health,
thus maximizing the potential for the betterment of self, family and community.
