About Glen Ridge High School

Our goal is to create an environment which fosters and promotes high academic achievement by providing an atmosphere for individual growth and development and by building upon student success.

The school will have a strong research base, encouraging students to gather information, make appropriate judgements on the information and then use it in the most authentic ways possible. Students will also get a firm foundation in the arts taught by specialists and incorporated into their classroom learning.

Education is a mutual responsibility shared cooperatively by parents, teachers and students. School procedures need the support of all three components to be effective.

School

The School system is viewed as the center of an active community. Close interaction between the school and the home is a characteristic of the Glen Ridge School District.
